Emma Que
BSc, MScEmma is a Resident Orthotist and completed the GBC clinical program in 2024.
Prior to her P&O studies, she completed a BSc and MSc, in Kinesiology, in 2016, and worked as a direct support worker for individuals with intellectual disabilities for three years.
In 2019 Emma learned about the Prosthetics and Orthotics profession through a career fair and was immediately intrigued. She was drawn to it due to the investigative nature, and the hands-on aspect of the field, all while providing care to those in need. Emma completed the GBC technical program in 2021, and with the goal of gaining clinical experience, worked for one year at Ron Joyce Children’s Health Centre in Hamilton. Then, in 2022, she was accepted into the GBC Clinical program.
Emma has lived in Toronto most of her life but is excited for this new adventure and chapter in Winnipeg. She loves swimming, arts & crafts and social activities with family and friends. She is often found with origami paper in her bag, almost at all times, as a pass time when waiting or when wanting to make a homemade gift for someone.
