Nicholas Leclerc
Nick is a Prosthetic Technician. Nick has been with WinPO since 2022 and has enrolled in the OPC Internship program with the goal of becoming a Registered Technician. Prior to joining WinPO Nick was a Red Seal Plumber and Gas Fitter.
Nick was born with Spina-Bifida and broke his leg playing hockey when he was 8 years old. He had multiple reconstructive surgeries to try to correct the problems he was having. These surgeries didn’t work until his final surgery when he decided to get his leg amputated below the knee in 2021.
Using a Prosthesis was the biggest reason for Nick switching careers. With history as a Plumber who has great hand skills, he is able to use his skill set in the field of Prosthetics and learn hands on about his own Prosthesis as well as others he fabricates.
When Nick is not working, he enjoys staying active by playing baseball and golf. He also likes being social and hanging out with his friends and family.
