Patrick Chin Cheong
B.Sc. (Kin), CO(c)Patrick is a Certified Orthotist. Patrick joined the WinPO team as a Resident Orthotist in January of 2022 and attained his Certification in 2023. He says he is from Toronto only because no one in Manitoba knows where Brooklin, Ontario is.
Patrick is a graduate from Ontario Tech University (formerly UOIT) with a Bachelor's of Health Science in Kinesiology. Needing to work with his hands Patrick decided to pursue Prosthetics & Orthotics at George Brown College in Toronto, graduating from both the Technical and Clinical programs.
A former general interest of the field in-thanks to science fiction became a love of the process: being presented a problem and a goal, problem solving a plan, and crafting something by hand that is personal and unique to suit the needs of the individual. There's nothing else Patrick would rather be doing unless it involved following The Muppets on a coast-to-coast tour of the country.
At work Patrick can be caught singing or humming show tunes while aligning leg braces.
Outside of work Patrick can be caught dressed up as a fictional character while arguing with people about space wizards and monsters that could fit in your pockets.
