Cas Weston
BS, MPO., CO(c)

Cas is a Certified Orthotist.  He joined Winnipeg P&O to start his residency in July 2020. He grew up in a small southern Alberta town next to the beautiful Rocky Mountains. He has a wife and three beautiful children who he loves to spend time with. They enjoy the many biking trails in Winnipeg and go to parks as often as weather permits. He also enjoys playing golf, basketball, and softball.

He studied his undergraduate degree of Health Promotion at Weber State University in Ogden, Utah. During that time, he was geared to prepare for medical school, but something was telling him there was something else waiting for him. The next year, after a tragic accident which happened to his friend, he was drawn to the unique field of prosthetics and orthotics.

Cas then pursued a degree in prosthetics and orthotics where he received great fulfillment and knew that this was the career for him. This pursuit brought him back to the US; to the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas where he earned a master’s degree in P&O in December 2019.

Cas previously spent 2 years in South Africa and Swaziland where he served the people as a volunteer for his church, and currently volunteers in a youth group from the ages of 11-17. He has also volunteered at various prosthetic and orthotic organizations to help with special events. Cas attained his Canadian Certified Orthotist designation in 2022..
