Shayne is an Orthotic Technician Intern. She has always hoped that her work would involve muscles and bones one day. When she was in class for a Rehabilitation Assistant program, her class had taken a trip to WinPO. This is where Shayne first learned about the world of prosthetics and orthotics. She took an interest immediately and was amazed how the job was hands on and that everything was custom. After working a term at the Health Sciences Centre as a physiotherapist assistant, she took the initiative to change careers and is enjoying the new journey she has taken on.
When Shayne is not at work, she likes to dance, thrift for vintage finds, enjoys eating out, and spending time with her friends and family.
